My senior capstone project, Relapsing to Silence, is a book that shares the experiences of adults who are suffering from selective mutism and the overwhelming distress it has caused throughout their lives. Those with this disorder experience an inability to speak in certain situations. 

This book’s purpose is to give a voice to those who have gone unheard, as well as educate on a disorder that is not well known or understood.

This project earned a Senior Capstone Citation of Excellence from University of the Arts in 2021.
